The Problem
Swiss military recruits using Android devices had no effective, dedicated way to memorize the military ranks. While iOS users already had access to an app for learning and practicing the ranks, Android users were left without a comparable solution.
The Solution
Insignia provides an easy and engaging way to learn the military ranks and functions recruits may encounter during their service in the Swiss Military. The app also includes an interactive quiz that lets users test their knowledge and reinforce their learning, making it easier to memorize the ranks.

The Overview tab lets users browse all the emblems they may encounter during their service.
Get detailed insights
Clicking on an emblem provides detailed information about the corresponding rank, function, or branch.
Test your knowledge
The Rank Quiz helps users test their knowledge of military ranks and identify areas for improvement.
